Monitoring and Equipment Terms

Contract Duration: The prices listed for each monitoring security package are based on a 60-month contract. Early termination of the contract may result in cancellation fees, which will be calculated based on the remaining term of the contract.
Payment Terms: Monthly payments are required throughout the duration of the contract. Payments are due on the date specified in your billing statement. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Upfront Costs: All equipment and installation costs must be paid upfront. This includes the control panel, sensors, and any other hardware necessary for the operation of your selected security package.
Additional Equipment: RoyalMind Security offers the option to customize your package with additional equipment. These additions can be financed with a separate monthly cost or through a one-time upfront payment. Additional equipment may be subject to installation and labour fees, which will be detailed in your customized package quote.
Monitoring Services: The packages include 24/7 professional monitoring services. These services are provided through either a POTS (analog phone line) connection or a cellular connection, depending on the package selected.
Automation and Smart Home Integration: Selected packages include smartphone connectivity, allowing for remote arm/disarm and control of connected devices. This feature is available only with packages that include a touchscreen security panel.
Installation: Installation of the security system will be carried out by trained professionals. The installation process includes setup of the control panel, sensors, and any additional equipment purchased. Installation and labour fees are applicable for additional equipment or customized setups.
Cancellation and Termination: Should you wish to cancel your contract before the 60-month term is completed, you will be responsible for paying an early termination fee. This fee is calculated based on the remaining months of the contract.
Maintenance and Repairs: Routine maintenance of the security system is the responsibility of the customer. Repairs due to equipment malfunction or other issues may be subject to additional fees.
Service Limitations: Monitoring services are subject to the availability of a stable phone line or cellular connection. RoyalMind Security is not responsible for interruptions in service due to circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages or network failures.
Legal Compliance: RoyalMind Security systems comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their use of the system complies with applicable laws.
Changes to Terms: RoyalMind Security reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of these changes.

Important Notice: Requires a 60-month professional monitoring contract. RoyalMind Security can customize a package with additional equipment for a separate monthly cost or one-time payment upfront. Additional equipment may be subject to installation and labour fees.
